announce that our annual Bastille Day event will be held on Sunday, July 14th,
2013 on Holyoke Street from 5pm – 10pm. Come celebrate with us in Grand
French Style!
Sandrine’s Bistro is once again our culinary and
cultural co-host for this celebration of all things French! Joining
Sandrines is an array of some of the most renowned French and ethnic
restaurants in greater Boston, including: Finale, Osushi, The Sinclair,
Starbucks, Yogurtland, Zinneken’s, La Voile, and The Waffle Cabin. Park
will be hosting a beer garden.
The festivities begin at 5pm with Cask Mouse, fresh off
their high energy set at this year’s Make Music Harvard Square / Fete de la
Musique. Cask Mouse draws from all aspects of their diverse musical
and geographical experiences to truly express emotion and tell untold... truths. With a sweeping love for all music they find
themselves meandering the genres of country, folk, rock n ’roll, rhythm and
blues, gospel and soul.
At 6pm, Rapplesauce takes the stage. Rapplesauce is a
group of musicians dedicated to bringing you that down low funk.
The band has been playing sold out shows up and down the East Coast. Not
to be missed!
From 7pm – 10pm, the party explodes with French techno- music
courtesy of DJ Kamal from the Boston French Party. Dance under the
twinkling lights to the hottest beats currently playing in Paris night clubs.
Indulge on French delicacies, groove to the hippest music, relax
with a cold beer and celebrate France in Harvard Square. C'est
Magnifique!
